Is a subscription required?

No, a subscription is not required when ordering from us! You are welcome to order from our "Meals" or "Meal Bundle" pages without a subscription plan. To unlock further savings we recommend plans for weekly or monthly recurring orders.

How do I pay for my meal?

All pre-orders for deliveries and in-store pickups must be prepaid via credit card at checkout.

What if I have allergies?

We can make special accommodation for you as long as you let us know by filling out the allergies section on your profile.

How do I warm up my food?

Please remember to remove any sauce cups before heating. Microwave: Remove cardboard sleeve, place container in microwave, peel corner of film, heat for 2-3 minutes or until desired temperature. Oven: Remove cardboard sleeve, place container in oven, peel corner of film, heat for 10 minutes at 325 degrees or until desired temperature. If Frozen: Thaw the day prior to consuming in the fridge over night then follow the normal heating instructions.

What are macros?

Macros are short for macronutrients. They are essential nutrients like proteins, carbohydrates, and fats that provide us with the necessary energy to function and grow. You may hear the saying, “Hitting your macros” when talking about fitness and this means to monitor your intake of these macronutrients to keep the proper balance of nutrients in your body. Macro Foods aims to make it as easy as possible to help you with your fitness goals so you can consistently hit your macros.

Yes! We cater for multiple occasions big and small. Contact us for more details.

What time will my meal be delivered?

LOCAL: We deliver between 12pm and 5pm EST. If you will not be home during your delivery the meals will be left on your front porch or where ever you specify in an insulated box with black ice! OUTSIDE WINDSOR: Orders will be shipped via courier, using special cold packaging to ensure maintenance of proper temperatures. Your order will arrive before 7PM the day of delivery. If you are not home during your delivery your driver will leave the package on your door step. Please remember to include any special delivery instructions on your order.

Which locations do you deliver to?

If you live in Ontario, we invite you to order from our site. Unfortunately we can NOT ship to the USA or overseas. If you live out of Canada, we thank you for your interest and referrals to our great products.

How is the product shipped?

From start to finish we want to guarantee the quality of all our products we sell. One of the ways to ensure that is through proper packaging and shipping channels. We have selected UPS/Purolator to fulfill all of our shipping needs. All of the products that get shipped are packaged in insulated boxes with black ice cold packs to help maintain a cold and consistent temperature. We ship FRESHLY PREPARED meals that are ready to heat and eat as well as FROZEN SOUPS. We only offer frozen meal options at our in-store locations, we do not ship frozen meals.

When will my package arrive?

On the delivery day you have selected: if shipping to a business it will arrive before 5PM, and if residential before 7PM.

What if I am not home to receive my shipment?

When placing an order, it is not necessary for someone to be there to receive it. If you won’t be at the provided address to receive your shipment, it will be left at your door.

What is the cost of shipping?

The cost of shipping is determined by size and weight of the package and will be displayed at checkout.

What should I do with the product once I receive it?

Once the product is received, it must be refrigerated immediately. If you choose, you can put it in the freezer since the product has never been frozen before.

How long are the meals good for?

All meals are vacuum sealed to stay fresh. They are generally good 7-10 days once received and can be frozen as well. Frozen meals are good in the freezer for 90 days and we recommend to thaw before heating.

How do I skip or pause one of my subscription dates?

While signed into your Macro Foods profile click the drop down menu located to the right of your browser with your initials (green circle), once selected select the "Profile" option. Once redirected to your profile details page click "My Subscription". Under subscription settings there will be a "Skip a Delivery" button which you must select and then it will prompt you to choose which date you wish to skip for.

How do I change my subscription to Manual Renewal instead of Automated Renewal?

While signed into your Macro Foods profile click the drop down menu located to the right of your browser with your initials (green circle), once selected select the "Profile" option. Once redirected to your profile details page click "My Subscription" button. Click "Cancel My Subscription" to opt out of automatic renewal and switch to manual renewal. This cancels your subscription for the automated renewal date listed on your subscription page and your subscription will no longer renew.

I added a discount code but it did not apply, what do I do next?

If you have added a discount code and it did not successfully apply to your order first double check your order to confirm the code can be used with the items in your cart. Please note we do not discount any meal packs or subscription plans because they are already offered at a discounted rate per meal as stated on the order page. If your cart has all applicable items and your code still did not apply please email us at info@macrofoods.ca with your order number so we can take a look.

How do I pick my subscription meals?

To pick your subscription meals visit your subscription page once logged in by clicking the drop down menu on the right hand side of the screen. You can select meals individually or have the computer system generate meals based off of your profile settings (likes, dislikes, allergens). If you have clicked the "Select My Meals" button and it brings you to the subscription page to set up a new subscription that means your billing for the upcoming week has not been updated yet, once updated you will be able to view your upcoming delivery date as well as pick your meals. Your billing date will be listed under your subscription page as your "Renewal Date".

What happens if my order date falls on a statutory holiday?

Couriers unfortunately do not work holidays to pick up shipping orders, if your shipping date falls on a holiday or the day before a holiday (as all packages take 1 day of transit time to be delivered) your order will be sent out as soon as possible the following day resulting in a shipping delay. We will notify all customers of holiday shipping delays once the order cutoff timer has been reached for the specified delivery date.

Can I cancel my subscription plan early?

If you wish to cancel your plan before the end of your plan terms there is a minimum of one week notice prior to your billing cycle which can be found under your subscription details. You will only be refunded the cost difference after the full price of each meal is deducted. You are welcome to cancel your plan at your set renewal date at any point under your subscription settings. Refunds issued due to cancellation will only be issued as a digital credit not a direct credit card refund.

Do I have to pre-order?

We offer grab-and-go meals at all locations, no pre-order necessary! We do suggest pre-ordering your meals to ensure we have them on hand as our grab-and-go meals are first come first serve and this will ensure we have exactly what you are looking for! If you are looking for something specific and haven't pre-ordered your meals we suggest contacting your nearest location to ensure availability.

What happens if my order does not arrive OR arrives damaged?

Please contact us immediately if you believe your order to be missing, we will investigate further with the courier company. We do not offer refunds on missing orders but a full order replacement in which we will send as soon as possible. If any items in your order arrive damaged please take photo to provide to our customer service email: info@macrofoods.ca where our team can review and offer a credit to your account with us.

When do I need to select my meals by for my meal plan?

If you selected Tuesdays as your pickup or delivery date you must select your meals by 6:00pm by the Wednesday prior to your selected order date. If you selected Thursdays as your pickup or delivery date you must select your meals before 6:00pm on the Sunday prior to your order date. If you miss the cutoff for meal selections you are welcome to contact us via telephone and we can discuss which accommodations and changes are available for your upcoming order.

Can I pick up my order instead of having it delivered?

Yes, pre order your meals by selecting a pick up day and your order will be available anytime during our business hours at the location you select. Need a different pick up day? Contact us to figure out something that works for you.
